Member Benefits
Your $25 annual membership fee gives you access to:
- Online Discussion Groups covering a wide range of topics (and you have the ability to join as many or as few discussions as you'd like). The discussion categories include parenting advice & local resources, living with allergies & asthma, connection parenting, professional mom's support, entrepreneurs, green living, older moms, needlecrafters, and more.
- Mommy & Me Field Trips. Past activities have included: fire station tours, farmer-for-a-day programs, berry picking, paint-your-own pottery outing, pumpkin picking, and many more.
- Mommy & Me Morning Get-Togethers (we call it our "member coffee"). We meet each month at a member's home to socialize while the kids play together.
- Year-Round Playgroups. In the summer we meetup at local playgrounds and often the beach. In the cold weather months, we have indoor playgroups and opportunities to get the wiggles out.
- Regional playgroups. These playdates give you the opportunity to meet other members who live in your area.
- Moms and Babies Morning Out. This "playgroup" meets each month and is a great opportunity for moms of infants (up to 18-months-old) to get out of the house and chat with other women who are dealing with the same parenting challenges like sleepless nights and unexplained crying.
- Halloween Party. This is one of the biggest (and best) family-friendly Halloween events in Maine. It is open to members and their guests only.
- Mom's Night Out activities. Regularly scheduled evening events for our members because as much as you love your kids sometimes you need a break!
- The Mom to Mom Summit. Our annual super-sized "Mom's Night Out" that invites members to take a little time away from the hubbub of life to refresh their spirit. Past Summits have included: yoga, belly dancing, life coaching, pampering by local spa professionals, speakers, entertainers, and more.
- Monthly workshops. Past topics have included: Mindful Parenting discussion, Intro to Yoga, Zumba and Bellydancing, Tools for Talking with Young Children, Home Canning & Preserving, Effects of Toxins in Our Homes, Knitting Instruction, Creating & Living the Life You Desire, and so much more!!!
- Annual events. These include a clothing swap, yard sale fundraiser for Mom to Mom and a holiday cookie swap.
- Community Outreach Projects. Ronald McDonald House meals, Thanksgiving project and holiday gift drive are a few of our yearly events.
- Monthly newsletter
- Comprehensive monthly calendar of events including both Mom to Mom outings and many other family-friendly activities going on around Southern Maine.
